I never really get inside the characters heads in this book. So for this ONE scene where I really needed to show their inner voices I figured I needed a different visual style to explain what was going on. I wish I were more creative, but the eagle eyed reader will pick up that that I just made a reference to Dr. Mario here.
Still, I am VERY happy with the way things turned out here.
