So there’s always background details that have more and more meaning. In this case, look for Black Mesa to appear time and time again in the background of this story. It’s obviously a nod to Half Life, but the more and more I used Black Mesa as a fake band, the more I thought about what sort of band they must be. In my mind, Black Mesa is essentially Tribe 8.
