Ha ha. I just have such a LARGE and ever expanding category of reference that I am able to do alright in that respect. I guess what makes it work is that I never do direct reference. I do take offs on Junko MIzuno and Chiho Ayoshima, but i never outright copy. Also Junko and Chiho (much like many of the references I have given away) are bordering on pretty obscure. So in the end it seems like I created something unique, but I will freely admit I am just making homage.
