Ah Jennet Howard, in a way my favorite character. Probably because she was the first one I ever created. She was one of the main characters in Stupid and Unkind; a book I did back in 2005, and which I will put up here one of these days.
So have you caught on that I’ve got this whole faux-documentary thing going on here. I really like this style. I first saw it in the Confessions of a Dangerous Mind movie.
But what really convinced me it would work in a comics format was Seths’ Wimbledon Green. Let’s take a look shall we:
I really believe I would never have been able to make Jam in the Band if I hadn’t seen that Seth could pull off this format.
