I’ve gotten some of my best work ever done in diners. I feel like I’m at my best in the post midnight hours hoped up on coffee and carbs. This is the first time I use the imagery of Bianca’s journal. This will show up a few more times.
Not the first appearance of the Pitch Girl skull with a bow logo. But let’s take a second to talk about it. I love the skull imagery, so I threw a bow on there and voila, Pitch Girl’s band logo. It’s kind of like how you put a bow on Pac Man and you get Ms. Pac Man. Now some of you may be wondering where I got the name Pitch Girl. It’s the name of a minor character in John Michael McCarthy’s SuperStarlet AD.
Not his best film. I reserve that honor for Sore Losers, which I consider required viewing. But still one of my favorite films of the last decade.
